Biography

Khaled ElMahgoub

Khaled ElMahgoub is a manager at Trimble Navigation, a leading provider of radio frequency identification (RFID) technology. Moreover, he is a researcher at the Auto-IDs Lab at the MIT. He received B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees in electronics and electrical communications engineering from Cairo University, Egypt and his Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the University of Mississippi, USA.

Over the past 12 years, ElMahgoub have been a researcher, teacher, and technology executive. He have been working full-time, as well as doing internship with distinguished multinational organizations in various industries. He is the recipient of ACES Early Career Award dedicated to honor the achievements of researchers younger than 35 years old (for his contribution in RFID advancements). He is listed in Who's Who in Science and Engineering. ElMahgoub is a senior member of IEEE since 2012.In his talk, Khaled is explaining how the "Internet of things"is a new way of identifying our world
