Fatma Said

A sophomore at the Hans Eisler Hochschule fuer Musik in Berlin and a first prize winner of various international singing competitions After starting her piano lessons at the age of eight, Fatma joined the Vocal Studio of Dr, Neveen Allouba. At the age of fourteen, she had her singing debut at the Cairo Opera House. ln 2006, she took part in the German Youth Music Competition and won First Prize in Singing twice and a special prize of the "WaIter und Charlotte Hamel" Scholarship in 2009. ln 2007 and 2008, she won the singing competition at the French Cultural Center in Cairo. In 2011, she won First Prize, the Public's Favorite Prize and the Best Foreign Song Prize in the Giulio Perotti" singing competition in Germany. Fatma has performed internationally representing Egypt in Greece, Turkey, Germany, France and Finland. Her international Opera debut is scheduled this July in Berlin where she takes the role of "Fatime" in the Opera "Abu Hassan" by Carl Maria von Weber.
